Build up Mentality 2 : Start something new, or different.

In my opinion, build up mentality is very important. Actually formal institution often ignore this problem.

Success or not a bachelor, the measure is after getting education. Not only from during be student. Mentality is the key. Because they will face change and uncertainity. Not from curriculum routine.

Many qoutes talking about change. Such as..

“Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change.” ― Wayne W. Dyer

“Change begins at the end of your comfort zone.” ― Roy T. Bennett

“Nothing is lost . . . Everything is transformed.” ― Michael Ende

“The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.” ― Steve Jobs

The point I want to say we need the strong mentality.

You guess didn’t have a mastering skill yet. But if you begin from build the mentality, it make you have the spirit of hard worker. Very important for improving skill, your personality, even for your team.

Are you football lovers? I ask to you for relating with. Ibrahimovic and Cristiano Ronaldo are examples who have strong mentality. Although the age is older, decreasing skill and speed, their mentality give big impact for team. Something which isn’t had by young squad.

My lecturer, Prof Azam Nur, often message us in the class. “I able to educate you with two ways. It be like the train, or be like a horse. being the train is like build mega infrastructure, we need build railroads, railway station, fuel, and others. Need big budget.”

“That is truly able to run fast. But it once runs off track. it ends.”

“Being a horse doesn’t really need a big budget. I will teach you some principal while you grow. Practising your mentality until you can run in any field any track. When I have done. You can drive your spirit by yourself.”

How do we build it?

Similar with your muscles, mentality needs workout too. If physical workout exercise by elevation, cardio and eating habit. mental workout exercise with do something new or different and consume good insight.

Start with something new… might start from a hobby, a skill, new route between your office — your home. Or working at different vibes. Horse usual do with something new, Isn’t it?

The changes in must need community. Because the process needs media for interaction. If the old position, you might be top five. In the new position you are nothing.

Here you find many failures. You often get mocked and blasphemy. This is time for exercising the power of mentality by dictating yourself. “Rise back quickly”.

At the new place can happen more possibility. You are able to succeed or not. If you get any mistakes. it’s normal, You are a newcomer.

But if you get success, you get new energy and more dopamine to go next level, or attempt the others.

You know, when you strive to achieve the target, but often grumble and pity yourself.. such as you guess bony and reduced sleeping time, your mind is disturbed. You have a big job for the mentality.

Now I’m learning Arabic and stay for long time in Yemen. Speaking of Yemenis is very different from Modern Standar Arabic. It’s new for me.

I’m here for mission of education and humanity. I learn the culture, wisdom, education from here and peaceful step to end the war. Yemen is one of the poorest country because war.
